Beginner Foundations

Essential first grammar and everyday language, right after the starter sequence.

Intermediate Verbs & Tenses

Present, past, and future β€” then aspect, the concept that ties all the tenses together, and the prefixes that build perfective verbs.

Intermediate Cases in Action

From single endings to full sentence contexts. The six case drills follow the recommended practice order.

Advanced Nuances

What comes after the basics: error detection, negated objects, comparison, clitic placement, conditionals, and indefinite pronouns.

Reference Guides & Tables

Consult at any level β€” no scoring, just explanations and lookup tables.

How the drills work

Every drill is a self-contained page: pick an answer, get instant feedback with a short explanation, and watch your score as you go. Drills shuffle their questions each run, so you can repeat them without memorising the order. Reference guides have no scoring β€” they are explanations and lookup tables you can consult at any level.

All drills run fully offline except Verb Conjugation, which fetches live conjugation data from serboverb.com and needs an internet connection. The listening mode of Cyrillic, Latin & Pronunciation uses your browser's speech synthesis and depends on an installed Serbian voice.

The vocabulary is standard Ekavian Serbian in Latin script, with Cyrillic introduced early in the starter sequence.

More Serbian on this site

The drills pair with our written guides: English–Serbian cognates and Serbian tea culture. For everyday navigation around town, see the non-smoking map and the places index.
