Serbian Adjective–Noun Gender Agreement

Pick the adjective form whose ending agrees with the noun's gender. Three genders, three endings: m consonant · f −a · n −o/−e.

Question 1/15 Score 0
The gender–ending rule
MASCULINEnoun ends in a consonant → adjective base form, e.g. nov stol
FEMININEnoun ends in −a → adjective takes −a, e.g. nova kuća
NEUTERnoun ends in −o / −e → adjective takes −o, e.g. novo selo

This drill uses regular nouns whose gender is predictable from the ending. Real Serbian has exceptions (e.g. stvar, noć are feminine; sudija is masculine) — learn those per word.
